Welcome to Harewood Junior School!

Our school – the school that smiles, welcomes visitors on a regular basis. We entertain adult visitors, staff from local schools and prospective parents nearly all of whom come to see our City Curriculum. This is a carefully planned thematic approach to the curriculum which is designed to stimulate children’s creativity and arouse their natural curiosity. Much of the pupils’ learning is centred around a number of themes which integrate work in a range of subject areas.

The City Curriculum has a strong motivational effect, and as a result most children behave very well and have positive attitudes to learning.
